About · Voyagér
Hi, I'm Emma.
I'm a travel writer and photographer exploring Europe's most beautiful corners — one slow journey at a time.
Voyagér started in 2021 as a folder of notes I kept sending to friends: which ferry, which village, which restaurant with the plastic chairs. It became a publication when the notes got too long to email.
Everything here is written after the trip. I pay for my own accommodation, book the same trains you do, and publish the costs. If a place is not worth the detour, it doesn't appear.
I live in Lisbon, travel roughly half the year, and photograph everything on two prime lenses. The rest of the year I'm editing, answering emails, and planning the next route far too early.

How this works
PrinciplesNo itinerary is published before it has been walked, eaten and slept through — mistakes included.
Real budgets, paid by us. Where something was hosted or gifted, it says so at the top of the page.
Two nights minimum, three where possible. Slow is not a style here, it’s the method.
